Admission is free and open to the public.
Start time is 9.30 pm

"Mountain Meitheal is a group of volunteers, people drawn from a wide range of outdoor backgrounds, who undertake hands on trail projects on our mountains and in our forests with the aim of protecting the environment and promoting sustainable outdoor recreation into the future.
Our objectives are simple, we are attempting to counteract some of the pressures that are evident on Ireland's mountains by working with the various landowners including, the National Park & Wildlife Service, Coillte and private landowners. We also promote the concept of sustainable recreation through the LEAVE NO TRACE message and are members of the Leave No Trace Ireland group.”

Thanks to Shay and the rest of the team from Mountain Meitheal for coming in to give the talk last night. Their planning and work is very impressive. I'll post the presentation later on the site so those that want to see it can.
I might try and organise a group from the club to attend one of their work days in Glendo. Let me know if you are interested.
